The I-STORM Annual Meeting in 2021 was held from 12-15 October. Although this year’s event took place virtually and was therefore very different to what we are used to, it was fantastic to see our members around the world sharing and exchanging their valuable knowledge by contributing and discussing the topics presented.

Test closure Maeslant Barrier

Every year the test closures of the Dutch Maeslant Barrier and the Hartel Barrier take place in September. Normally this is a big event, but due to the Coronavirus measures, I-STORM member and barrier owner Rijkswaterstaat decided to reach the public via a livestream this year.
