Contingency planning is very important in storm surge barrier management, especially in this challenging time. This event enabled our members to discuss best practice with one another.

The current COVID-19 pandemic is causing many challenges for storm surge barrier teams. Fluctuating staff levels and social distancing regulations mean contingency planning is crucial for the continued operation of our strategically important flood risk management assets. During this webinar our members shared their thoughts on how to approach this challenge.

This event was organised by the national network I-STORM.EA for all national and international I-STORM members. Thank you to all attendees for joining and to our speakers who gave a lively and interesting presentation!
